Rugs & More is a popular retail store selling…you guessed it, rugs and more! The in-store sales were booming, but their online store was seeing next to no traffic. With no in-house digital marketing experts, and limited time to spend on digital marketing, the owners at Rugs & More reached out to us. Their sole goal was to drive traffic to their website and above all, sell, sell sell!
We realized quickly learnt why there was such a staggering difference between the foot-traffic in-store in comparison the traffic to the website. There was no awareness of Rugs & More having an online store and consequently that mean no traffic to the website. The experts at Pivot Point having identified the problem, could go on to now solving it. We set up traffic campaigns targeting lookalike audiences of their existing customer list to generate traffic. Paired with an engaging stop motion video and compelling copy to view more on the website, the aim was to drive as much traffic to the website as possible. After 2 weeks of traffic generation, we added in a supplementary re-marketing campaign. In simple words, we aimed to convert website visitors to buying customers!
As a result of our work, Rugs & More saw an increase in traffic and sales! While there’s still more work to be done, working with us subsequently helped Rugs & More see the value in digital marketing when done well. Our goal is to keep growing and scaling their online store, to help them go international when the time is right!
